Lisa Paine | Manager | Level 6

I joined BCPS in September 2017 after graduating from Reading University with a BA Hons in Children’s Development and Learning. I’ve been inspired through my experience in a range of roles in supporting young children over the past 16 years, in Pre-Schools, Primary Schools, as well as running baby and toddler signing and music classes. I am Mum to 2 teenage boys so spend lots of my spare time watching them playing football. I perform as a singer in a soul band, so always love a good singalong with the children at Pre-School. I feel passionately about young children’s curiosity, wonder, and capabilities.

In my spare time I enjoy day trips, spending time with my family and trying to get to the beach as often as possible!

Catherine Reeve | Early Years Practitioner | Level 3

I have almost 15 years of experience working in pre-schools and nurseries starting by volunteering at my son’s Pre-School and then running it! I worked at Emmanuel church nursery in Normandy for over 6 years before they closed down and was very pleased to find a position at Bagshot community Pre-school. I enjoy working with children and find it very rewarding to see how they learn and develop. Originally from Suffolk, I also lived in Malaysia for 5 years where I volunteered at the Garden International School in their primary library sharing stories with the children, I also volunteered at the Riding for the Disabled (RDA) association to help the children learn to ride horses and build their physical development. I have been married for over 25 years and have a son in his 20s. I have recently completed my Level 3 early years educator diploma which has given me a great insight into the latest rules, best practice, and government guidelines. When not studying or working, I like to travel and have recently started joining my husband on the back of his motorbike for days out around the area. I am also a keen walker and will always be seen with my Fitbit on my wrist to keep track of my steps!
